Hyundai Accent came into the Indian market in the late 1990s and was a good hit. It was available in both Manual and transmission.

It had a mileage of 13.2 and a fuel capacity of 45L. it had a seating capacity of 5 people and offered 4 number doors. It had a displacement of 1495cc and 4 numbers cylinders.

Hyundai Accent came in 6 colors were- Diamond Black, Sleek Silver, Berry Red, Silky Beige, Dark Gray Metallic, and Crystal White. The price range started from Rs 4.50 Lakh and went up to Rs. 7.49 Lakh.
This car had a mileage of 13.1 to 16.36 kmpl. The Manual Diesel variant had a mileage of 13.1 kmpl. The Manual Petrol variant had a mileage of 16.36 kmpl. The CNG variant had a mileage of 13.2 km/kg and the Manual LPG variant had a mileage of 13.2 km/kg. The interior of Hyundai Accent had features like a tachometer, Glove compartment, and fabric upholstery. For safety Hyundai Accent had rear seat belts, side-impact beams, front impact beams, and adjustable seats. Hyundai Accent was a hit back then it was priced right and had no competition.
However, this model was discontinued because the sale of the car sharply declined. Hyundai sold Accent’s maximum units in 2005. In the year 2013, the Hyundai Accent saw a steep decline in sales of the car. But as the competition grew bigger the Accent started to lose its essence. Hyundai Accent’s latest variants only offered the collapsible steering column. In terms of looks, Hyundai Accent was getting old but it had still been sold along with two generations of its Verna the successor.
It was said that to learn driving Accent was a very responsible vehicle. Just because the Indian market was never able to stay it doesn’t mean other countries never demanded Accent. A country like Alegria still has a demand for this car.
