Exterior of Tata Punch
It has features like daytime running lamps (DRLs) and three tri-arrow patterns on the black grille with headlights below the bumper. Further, it has dual-tone body color and roof rails. The rear of the car has a sharply designed tailgate, integrated roof spoiler, and squarish LED taillights that give it an awesome look. Most of these features are based on the HBX concept. However, the rear bumper is rather simple in design than the HBX concept features. In addition to this, Tata Punch comes with 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Tata Punch has 188 mm ground clearance for that SUV look.
The 90° opening doors, signature humanity line of Tata, Cladding on doors, wheel arches, and sill cladding give it a bolder look.
Interior of Tata Punch
The interior cabin is rather minimalist but stylish with dual-tone black and off-white cabin, a well-organized clutter-free dashboard, and horizontal air-con vents. In addition to this, this amazing car offers a decent boot space of 366 liters for extra luggage. However, it misses out on rear air-con vents and front central armrest. Further, Tata Punch ranks really good on comfort in its category. Also, the start and stop engine button, automatic climate control, height-adjustable driver seat, leather steering wheel & gear knob, the auto fold ORVM, rear armrest, and a cooled glovebox are some of the really cool features the car has.
In addition to this, rear wiper and wash, over 25 utility spaces to store what you need, tilt steering for personalized driving experience, and steering mounted controls that offer the infotainment unit controls and cruise access control at one place make this car worth the money.
Engine and performance
The Tata Punch is a petrol car with a 1.2 L Revotron Engine with Dyna pro-technology, the same as the Tata Altroz.
The engine produces a maximum power of 63 kW @ 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 113 Nm @ 3300 rpm.
Further, the car is equipped with a 5-speed manual (Standard) and automatic (optional) transmission gearbox.
Further, it has 3 fuel cylinders and an 1199 cc capacity. The total capacity of the fuel tank in Punch car is 37 liters. Additionally, it features two drive modes- Eco and City.

Further, it features disc-type front brakes and drum-type rear brakes. The front suspension is an independent Mcpherson strut with a coil spring. While the rear suspension is a semi-independent twist beam with coil spring and shock absorber.
A really interesting feature of Tata Punch is that it automatically turns off the engine when in idle mode and helps save that precious fuel. But don’t worry! Turning the engine back on is really easy with just the ‘Punch’ of a button.
Tata Punch has really good tech features. Further, the instrument cluster is partially digital and 7-inch long. The infotainment unit of it is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Also, It features four speakers and two tweeters for a better jamming experience. Further, the iRA technology (optional) offers a range of features such as:
- ‘Tribes’ to connect with other Owners
