Elvis Presley

The King of Rock ‘N Roll was quite the motorhead. One of the most dominant music icons in the 1950s rock music scene, Elvis has remained one of the greatest performers. He owned more than 200 cars throughout his lifetime. Here is a look at a few.

Elvis had always had a thing for Cadillacs. He bought his first pink Fleetwood in 1955. It was the 1954 Series 60 version. He often drove around in it with his band The Blue Moon Boys. In an interview, he called it the most beautiful car he had ever seen. It was 3 months before the brake lining caught fire and it blew up. He bought another Fleetwood 60 soon after. This one came in blue and had a black roof. Elvis, however, had it repainted in ‘Elvis Rose’ and gifted it to his mother. The car is now on permanent display at the auto museum at Graceland.
