Audi e-Tron GT Launched, Bookings Open
Audi is a German Car-manufacturing giant. It came to India in 2004, after its parent company, Volkswagen. It is one of the top names in luxury and power. However, this year has brought a new shift. GT price ranges between Rs 1 Cr to 2 Cr. The bookings for e-Tron GT began on 8 September 2021. However, the car is set to launch on 22 September 2021, in India.
For the first time, Audi has introduced an Electric Vehicle combined with a Gran Turismo design. In addition, the car has seen a face-lift with a comparatively bolder and sleeker look from the visioned concept. There had been two other EVs from Audi, the e-Tron SUV, and the RS e-Tron sedan.
Audi E-Tron Concept:
The concept revolves around the “Cherish the old, Embrace the New” tagline. The e-Tron GT concept follows a trail into the forthcoming. It is a four-entryway roadster with a long wheelbase. It further includes the features of an exemplary Gran Turismo (GT). The Turismo is cast in a reformist Audi e-Tron framework plan.
The motto is to transition into the future, learning from the roots. Audi guarantees the sports car driving representation. The e-Tron is completely electric. In addition, it has the classic Audi Quattro all-wheel drive.

Powers and Engine Ranges:
The car manufacturing giant has cleverly designed the e-Tron GT for the new-age drivers. e-Tron GT price range begins from Rs. 1.5 Cr. It is equipped with an 84 kWh battery package which returns up to 500km of range, in one charge. Compared to the RS e-Tron’s Range of 481 km, this e-Tron is set to sail farther. It produces 469 BHP and 630 Nm torque. The pick is speculated to be from zero to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds. In addition, the e-Tron GT can be charged with a 270 kW superfast charger. It comes with an 11 kW home charging kit.
If you charge with a 270 kW super fast charger, it can charge for a 100 km drive in just five minutes. Further, e-Tron charges completely in about 30 to 40 minutes (at max)
Interiors and Exteriors Design:
The front facade has a hexagonal-shaped engine grille with the Audi emblem. Audi features matrix LED headlamps combined with the Blue X element as an option. Other than that, the front bumper has an aerodynamic alteration in the form of air curtains. In the rear end, we have a LED light bar close to the bumper with an animated function.
Audi e-Tron has a quintessential interior design with an ultra-modern reform. It is equipped with a digital instrument cluster and an MMI infotainment display. In addition, the classy interiors come with vegan implements, seat covers for instance.
